Interlibrary Loan / Document Delivery

Introduction

The Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Service (ILL/DDS) is a service provided by LAU Libraries. Through this service, materials may be borrowed from other libraries when they are not available at LAU Libraries, but are needed for research or teaching purposes.

Who may borrow?

LAU faculty, staff, and students in good standing with a valid ID are eligible to use this service.

Eligible Materials

Books Articles Theses Dissertations Conference Papers Audiovisual Materials Microfiche
Note: Non-circulating materials, including high-demand, rare, fragile, and archival items, are not available for loan through this service.

Submitting Requests

LAU faculty, staff and students may submit interlibrary loan requests using this FORM or by searching HERE, then they completing the ILL request form.

Returning Borrowed Materials

ILL materials must be returned to the ILL/DDS unit during regular Library hours.

Borrowers are responsible for all costs associated with lost or damaged items. The lending library determines applicable charges. If items are lost in transit or after being returned to LAU Libraries, the ILL/DDS unit will reimburse the lending library.

Note: Photocopies become the borrower's property.
