Rent a Locker
Introduction
The LAU libraries provide lockers at the Riyad Nassar Library (RNL),
Joseph G. Jabbra Library (JGJL), and Health Sciences Library (HSL)
for the temporary storage of personal belongings, including laptops,
books, papers, and other study materials.
Eligibility

Locker rentals are available only to currently registered LAU students.

Students who are no longer registered must return their locker key upon the end of their registration.
Rental Terms
- Lockers are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

Lockers are rented for one academic semester.
- Lockers are accessible only during the library opening hours.
- Locker rentals may be renewed, provided that no waiting list exists.
- The rental fee is $15–$20 per semester, depending on locker size.
Rental Procedures

Students must request a locker key at the Access Services Desk.
- If no lockers are available, students may be placed on a waiting list.

A locker is considered assigned only after the rental fee has been paid through the Business Office.
Security and Responsibility
- Lockers are provided for the convenience of students.

The library is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damage to items stored in lockers.

The library reserves the right to inspect locker contents when deemed necessary.

Do not store food, perishable items, or items with strong odors in lockers.
- Access Services staff may assist with opening lockers when required.
- Students are responsible for paying replacement charges for lost keys or damaged locks.
- Items removed from lockers will be transferred to the Lost and Found Office in the Protection Department.
